While we have to pass through the period of adjustment to life that is different and undesirable without our loved one, we still arrive to a point where our life becomes a little calmer and more organized. Our physical vulnerability is less obvious and the depressive thoughts begin to lift up very slightly. |
During this time we observe that we have become more functional, and our mind has become more active. We can find ourselves seeking realistic solutions to the issues of every day life without our significant other in it. The beginning period of our grief was so disastrous that we were unable to imagine the emotional calm, light, or the possibility to move on would be coming our way again some day.
